This game forces usage of some more obscure cards, with a focus on previewing the upcoming cards in your and your opponents deck, placing gained cards directly onto the deck (Develop), and stashing cards for later (Native Village and Haven). Strike a balance between Highways and Council Rooms (buys) for the best results. The Oracle and Noble Brigand combo, as do the Spy and Native Village. Starts slow, ends guns blazing. Turns take a long time, you're likely to cycle the whole deck, and multiple Provinces aren't uncommon. Would be interested to hear how this stacks up in a 3+ player game or versus a big money deck.

The flux compensator is a fictional technology allowing time travel. It is from the 'back to the future' movies. So this set is all about knowing what will happen next. Playing it was much fun. The Haven fits the topic, but it can be replaced with the witch, since the whole set is built around the ambassador.
