A blast. Many different directions/strategies to the win.

Really nice setup. We played this twice yesterday, with four players (and colonies and platinum), and both games were great fun. Chapel didn't get picked much, but it's nice to have. Pirate Ship not quite as devastatingly horrible as in other games. Seems like a good balance throughout the cards. Lots of curses. Lots of money. Lots of chaining. Definitely one of our favourite setups.

Very fun, makes small hand tactic feel uber-powerful. Played with two players (and colonies and platinum).

Was fun to play, but turned into a long game (5 people) because no one purchased provinces, only tried to get victory tokens. I tried to play without using attack cards, and it was a little frustrating, but still not far out of first. Would be interesting to play again with strategies in mind going into it.

My husband and I had a lot of fun with this setup. I agree with another commenter that chapel was hardly used (we never bought it in the two games that we played). The only purpose for the chapel is to trash curses (from the witch) and Expand already does that with an added bonus. We found that the secret to winning (I guess unless everyone does it) is Goons. Pirate Ship was a fun addition. Well put together deck! We used platinum and colonies in our games.

Played this again with my wife and we really enjoyed it. It's a very balanced set with lots of different combination possibilities.
