Played this but put Festival in instead of Market. This enabled slightly longer chains of actions (combining festival and village) with often surplus actions however the set lacks draw card ability to feed those action chains.
Because of the lack of draw card ability my opponents start of Explorer and lighthouse followed by Mine on her subsequent shuffle was a better start than mine. I had 3/4 copper and went with workshop and spy. I aimed to workshop into Islands which seemed threatening but was eclipsed by the money strategy of my opponent who was buying provinces way before I could.
Attacking with beurecrat won me some advantages on some turns but spy did very little other than smoothing out my next draws with a village.
Overall there were no real dud cards in our game however we only wanted one bureacrat, mine and explorer each to minimise bad draws.
